Why Vitalign

Someone in my family got a blood report back, and none of us could read it. Not the numbers — those were fine — but what to actually do on a Tuesday evening about a number that was flagged. The doctor had ten minutes and gave sensible, general advice. The internet gave a thousand contradictory articles. Every diet app we tried wanted to know a goal weight and had no interest in the report at all.

I work in finance. Reading numbers is most of my job, and I found it genuinely strange that a page full of numbers about my own family could be this unreadable. Not complicated — unreadable. No one connected the value on the page to the food already in our kitchen.

Vitalign is the thing I wanted to exist that week: something that reads the report, says plainly what each number means, and answers the question underneath it — what should we cook tonight. Built around dal, sabzi and curd, because that is what was actually in the house.

Who's building it

Rishabh Gupta — I work in business and finance, and I built Vitalign after watching my own family struggle to turn a blood report into a single practical decision about dinner.

What I am not: a doctor, a dietitian, or a clinician of any kind. I have no medical qualification. What I have is a few years of reading nutrition and biomarker literature closely, and a structured knowledge base built from it that I keep adding to — currently covering 25 markers. That base is reference material, not peer-reviewed research, and Vitalign is built so that anything genuinely clinical points you back to your doctor rather than trying to answer it. If that boundary ever feels blurry to you while using it, that is a bug and I want to hear about it.

What we won't do

No fake testimonials. No diagnosis claims. No pretending there's a clinical team if there isn't one yet. If something changes about the team or the claims we can honestly make, this page updates — not the marketing copy elsewhere.
